Melloney Roffe - Producer
Melloney has worked in production on over 150 films, She joined Channel 4 Television in 1991, as Programme Finance Manager for the documentary department where she was responsible for handling their yearly budget of over £12 million. Melloney co-produced 'The Refuge' and 'Plato's Breaking Point' with her husband Nigel. She also teaches at the National Film School.
Nigel Barker - Co-Producer/Writer/Director Nigel co-produced The REFUGE, with his wife Melloney. Feature Films as writer/director include 'The Refuge', 'Plato's Breaking Point' and Cock and Bull. He has also edited over forty films for Channel 4 and the BBC. . See Editor credits He also teaches at the National Film School.
Simon Ricketts - Writer
Simon is a national newspaper journalist and writer and co-wrote The Refuge with Nigel. It is his feature film writing debut but has worked as script consultant on many succesful British movies, including 'Dog Soldiers', 'Devil's Gate' and 'Al's Lads'.
Jamie D. Allen - Associate Producer
Jamie is Canadian and works as a writer, producer and assistant director in Canada and the UK. His latest collaboration 'The Evolved' has just been picked up by TROMA and premiered at Cannes this year. He has worked on both "Plato's Breaking Point" and "Asylum/Refuge." Notable television series include "Peep Show," "Top Buzzer," "Broken Trail" and "Footballers Wive$: Extra Time." He currently resides in London.
